Workflow versioning with snapshots
Available in: pSeven Enterprise v2026.04
In pSeven Enterprise, a workflow is not only an engineering methodology, but also the history of its development. The latest update to pSeven Enterprise allows you to save important stages in the evolution of the methodology as separate workflow versions, known as 'snapshots'.
These stages may include the initial workflow draft, an intermediate version with test simulation models, a final version with real simulation models and the published version as a web application on AppsHub.
As well as saving important stages of the workflow's development, snapshots also save the corresponding files. This makes it possible to have a complete, reproducible and always accessible version of the entire engineering process.
The update also enables you to compare workflow snapshots with each other and provides a visual representation of all the changes made, such as added blocks, updated port values, block connections and new files. This comparison provides a clear overview of the differences between any snapshot and the current workflow version.
