Video Tutorials to Get Started with pSeven
Overview
DATADVANCE engineering team developed the series of self-paced video tutorials for the novice users of pSeven. This free course introduces you to the basic functionality of pSeven, including Automation&Integration, and tools for Design Exploration and Predictive Modeling. It has been divided into seven bite-sized videos demonstrating how to use pSeven in a step-by-step manner.
Each video lesson teaches you how to use a specific feature of pSeven, starting with the concept of a feature and the description of corresponding tools in pSeven, and proceeding to the live demo of the functionality performed in pSeven 6.14. If you have no previous experience with pSeven, we recommend you to follow the defined sequence of videos when taking this course, but you can start your journey from any video. The total videos duration is about 1.5 hours.
Please note that this series is a supplementary resource to facilitate your introduction to the platform, and provides the basic information only. To learn more, we recommend you to complete the introductory tutorials in the User Manual. Also, you will find a "Documentation" button under each video description, leading to the corresponding paragraph of pSeven Documentation for your convenience.

This video introduces you to the graphical user interface of pSeven and explains how to use the workflow ― a sequence of computations with defined execution order representing the design process. The essential functions of pSeven platform’s interface are considered in a live demo.

Integration basics
This video is an overview of pSeven’s integration tools. Integration capabilities in pSeven are handled by two types of blocks which create an interface between a pSeven workflow and a third-party software. Direct integration blocks provide an easily configurable connector between pSeven and a specific software tool, and generic integration blocks integrate any software using program’s command line interface. pSeven integration capabilities are illustrated by a live demo of Creo and MSC.Patran/Nastran integration.

Design Exploration: Design of Experiments
This video shows how to use the Design Space Exploration (DSX) block in pSeven to perform Design of Experiments studies. The concept of Design Exploration is explained. The video describes the Design of Experiment approach of DSX block. The generation of data sample using Design Exploration in pSeven is displayed in a demo case.

Design Exploration: Design Optimization
This tutorial demonstrates how to use the Design Space Exploration (DSX) block to perform Optimization studies in pSeven. Optimization approach of DSX block is considered in detail. You will see a demo example of using Design Exploration to optimize a geometry of high-speed rotating disk with respect to mass and displacement.

Analyze Basics
This video explains how to collect data from a workflow, and how to apply the visualization and analysis tools of the Analyze panel to process this data and create reports. Analyze Basics and the key functions of pSeven Analyze are shown in a live demo.

Predictive Modeling: Model Builder
The concept of Predictive Modeling and its potential applications are presented in this intro. pSeven includes a set of tools for building and managing predictive models, that can work with both data gathered from automated simulation workflows in pSeven and datasets imported from CSV or Excel files. Watch the demo case and learn how to create a predictive model step by step using Model builder tool in pSeven Analyze.

Predictive Modeling: Model Explorer, Model Validator
