pSeven 6.31.1 Release
pSeven development team announces the release of pSeven 6.31.1. It is a hotfix release, which repairs the Uncertainty quantification block broken in pSeven 6.31, and also provides a preview of the FMI 2.0 model export feature as well as certain algorithmic improvements in the Design space exploration block.
New Features
Predictive modeling
- FMI 2.0 support: you can export a pSeven approximation model to a Functional Mock-up Unit (FMU) for Model Exchange and Co-Simulation — a new type of FMU introduced by the FMI 2.0 standard. The FMI 2.0 export feature is available in the ApproxBuilder and Approximation model blocks and in the Models pane in Analyze.
Updates and Changes
Design space exploration block:
- Improved accuracy of linear response modeling in optimization and Adaptive design techniques.
- Improved stability and accuracy of quadratic constraint modeling in optimization and Adaptive design techniques — in particular, when handling equality type quadratic constraints, which previously could lead to an infeasible problem.
pSeven 6.31.1 is a recommended update which contains all recent improvements introduced in pSeven 6.31, as well as the additional fixes and updates mentioned above.
