MACROS 1.9.4 Released

DATADVANCE development team is pleased to announce MACROS 1.9.4, the next release in MACROS 1.9 series.

Two major features of this release are:

  • Linear extrapolation support for BSPL factors in Tensor Approximation models. GTApprox now allows user to set BSPL extrapolation type (constant or linear) and the range of linear extrapolation by the means of appropriate model builder options. This feature adds control over the surrogate model behavior in the design space areas which were not included into the model training set.
  • Increased the stability of sample-based sensitivity analysis in the tasks featuring constant inputs and/or outputs. This release implements specific rules for processing such data samples, and GTIVE will now produce understandable and reproducible results in these cases.

This release also fixes an important bug in GTApprox model export to C which made some of the exported code not usable in C++, and a few more minor bugs in new GTApprox model smoothing methods implemented in MACROS 1.9. Full details may be found in the MACROS 1.9.4 release changelog.
